hollyc
Well, I happen to like triangles. Whe I purchase fabric, I will cut 2 1/2 inch strips and then cut triangles and squares. I have a shoe box for lights and darks of each. I will make 2-4,000 1/2 sq triangles before we go on vacation and then I can press them...don't want to waste time without a sewing machine! I give presentations to local quilt guilds...pack up 50 quilts and go. I spent 4 hours today, hanging my quilts and taking pictures of the triangle quilts that I have done. I have about 20 more tops to quilt. (Ignore the extra pictures in there) If you'd like to see, here is the website. http://public.fotki.com/hcain/holly-quilting-1/triangles/ If you are in the Minnesota/Wisconsin and would like a show for your quilt guild, let me know! Hope you enjoy the show!

hollyc
Vicki, that was a picture on the front of a book done in the 70's, I made it bigger and expanded it. It is all 1/2 square triangles...I think there are 8000 in that quilt

Guest Linda S
Great quilts. I am currently making two (count 'em, TWO) quilts which are composed entirely of 1530 HSTs. I decided to make one for myself and then a friend saw it and wants one too. Yipes.
