lnieland
I just finished a Yellow Brick Road for a friend. I had just received my new Fine Line rulers (not affiliated in any way, but I'm a really happy customer) and decided to give them a test run on this quilt. I'm not real great at freehand work, so I rely on my rulers - a lot! This one gave me lots of opportunities to quilt curves.

Bekah
Nice job Louise. I guess I am not familiar with the fine line rulers
LibbyG
I like that border design, but I must admit, I'd rather freehand CCs. Just too impatient.
CrazyAboutQuilting
Way to go, Louise! That really turned out nice. I enjoy using rulers too.
quilted charm
Very nice. I really like the one that looks almost like a holly leaf. That could be a great Christmas design. I have to admit, I freehand the cc's also. I tried with the curved ruler, but once again I can't keep the ruler from moving, and with such a small curve it becomes very noticible. Leslie, what I like about the Fine Lines are that they have a little strip of something (velcro?) on the back that helps you keep them stable while stitching around them. I've tried sandpaper dots on some of my other rulers, but I still had a little bit of slippage. There was virtually none while using these.
