sewhappy
Another post to the rescue! I read the posts about the arm base hitting the clamps along the sides of the quilt, (thought it was just me having this issue) I asked DH to pick up the cheap curtain rods next time he went to the hardware store-explained why I wanted them. He dissapeared into the garage when he returned he had in his hand a pair of curtain rods!! They work perfectly!! The best part? I looked at the OLD price tag on the pkg-Clearance tag- .49cents!!!!LOL:P

lnieland
I guess I'm going to have to go on a scavenger hunt for our old curtain rods. Right now I'm using two pieces of wood, but because they don't have anything to hold them in place, they tend to move when I advance the quilt. It doesn't really hurt anything, but they do make a racket when that happens! Curtain rods sound like the solution - especially if they're free!
