a smile for Sunday night

Recommended Posts

An artist friend has had some of her artwork printed to fabric using Spoonflower. I was helping her test out some things for small quilts earlier this month. I just kept smiling everytime I looked at this image of the guy doing dishes. It resonates in my house since my husband is in charge of doing the dishes and keeping the kitchen clean. ( I stock the kitchen and cook).

I'm glad that this made some of you smile. I don't think that Claire has printed enough fabric to sell, but I can ask. She has put much of her artwork on magnets. You can check out her website, http://www.clairewashere.com/magnets. She does some other neat things as well.

I like the idea of having labels printed by Spoonflower; this was the first time I had seen any of their fabric. (The rest of the fabric in Claire's pillows and quilts is 'found' or repurposed fabric. That way, everything she does is unique.)
