Della
I am wondering if any of you have quilted a Stack n Whack quilt and what you might have done to it. I am pretty sure I have one coming and it is very flowery! Thanks!
witha'K'quilting
I did one...and put spirographs in the center of each stack and whack rosette.
Della
Thanks, Kristina. I don't have any "tools" or rulers so it will have to be freehand.
Bonnie H
Dell, I made this whack and stack for my mom. It's done with the CL Swirls long board. [/img]

Would continuous curve-type quilting work for a whack and stack?
witha'K'quilting
You can do some line dancing in each area of the stack and whack. That looks pretty too.
Bonnie H
Originally posted by Della Wow, Bonnie, that is beautiful! Thank you, Dell. I really like Kristina's idea of the line dancing. I'm hoping someone will draw it out for you (I'm taking notes, you see! LOL)

Busy Quilting
This was a very bright stack and whack in which I line dancing the center star, the stacked hexagons I put Circle Lord centers in. Kimmy Brunner has a technique for continuous quilting without going through the center of Stack and Whack blocks. I will have to search through my photos for a block done this way

Della
These are wonderful!! The block is different from the one that I will be doing which is a big 8 piece pinwheel. Getting good ideas!!
ffq-lar
This is a kaleidoscope-style Stack and Whack from 2008. It has a design started in the center to fill each petal. (Those who own Bonnie B's Starch and Steam DVD will perhaps recognize this quilt....)

LibbyG
Della, Kay, from Scotland, Borderline Quilter, posted a gorgeous stack and whack. If you go to her flickr site it's called ORIENTAL TUDOR ROSE. I know it's somewhere in my favorites, but I couldn't find it.
