quilterbee1
What is the best size(used the most) to order? I was thinking the 10" boomerang and not sure what size Terry Twist ruler to get. Also, the circle rulers by customCT.com...does;) anyone use these? I like them! Thanks, Amie

CrazyAboutQuilting
Hi Amie, I have both the 10" and 12" boomerang and use them all the time. I also have the circle rulers that you have and I really like those too! I have them from 2" up to 6".
witha'K'quilting
check out Renae Haddadin's website. www.renaequilts.com ...go to store, then gadgets i bought her 12"/13" arc with laser etching for $15.00. It is much cheaper than deloa's boomerrangs. not affiliated...just a happy customer. renae shipped it out right away too.
meg
small terry twists are easy to freehand, so i would get a larger one. jmho
LibbyG
I like DeLoa's boomerangs because of the markings. I'm not sure if Renae has hers marked. I'd check it out.
witha'K'quilting
renae's 12/13" arc is marked. can't beat the price I didn't think.
Bonnie
As Kristina said. They are marked on both inside and outside curves, a wonderful product for sure. The only advantage over Renae's is you get two ruler sizes in one. Outside will be 13" and inside 12". Where Deloa's you buy a ruler for each size you need to fill and both the inside and outside are the exact size. Hense so many to choose from. quilterbee1
Thank you Kristina! I'm checking on that tonight )) I love all the info on the forum!! I'm pinching pennies so if there is a cheaper alternative I'm looking into it. Amie:)
witha'K'quilting
Understood Amie. Glad to have helped. I researched the different curved rulers out there...and went with Renae's. I couldn't beat the price...and as Bonnie said...it's like 2 rulers in one.
Quilting Heidi
There is a difference between Renae's and Deloa's rulers. Renae's rulers are two different sizes 12" & 13". Deloa's rulers are the same size on both sides and means you can stitch on either side of the foot depending on what you need for that block. Deloa's rulers also have a center line and 45 degree lines that help you to line up for stitching, not sure if Renae's do. I have many of Renae's arc rulers that I got before she came out with the marked ruler and they are handy just work a little different since all of hers cover 2 sizes on one ruler. witha'K'quilting
Renae's has the center line. Either way, for anything i am going to do...Renae's fits the bill.
Bonnie
Or I could really throw you a curve ball and suggest the Judalator rulers, by Judy Allen. I love her rulers a well I have the 12" and 6". The curve can be deeper because the shape. . Just another thought well worth the look.
