aktbone
I have been using Superior thread - So-Fine (love), King Tut (very linty) and now Rainbow (so far, so goood!). I would like to branch out. Any suggestions regarding Signature? Where is the best palce to purchase it? (most bang for the buck)
Quilting Grammy
Signature can be a little linty but usually runs with out problems, little lighter weight than King Tut. I can't tell you about where you might find it I get mine at the LQS. Sorry couldn't be more help.
quiltmonkey
I totally Love Signature! It's 100 cotton so yes it will be linty but it's nice and fat and and looks great and I very very rarely never a problem with it. I try (as always) to keep my top thread tension as tight as possible (especially cottons like Tut and Signature) and I do fine. Sewer's Aid is your friend if you bump into issues. ffq-lar
Google Signature thread cones to access many sites that sell this brand. I have purchased from Kenquilt, which has good prices on Signature. I like Signature for a big impact on kid's quilts and utility quilts. They have some variegated but not as pretty as King Tut. If you like cotton, you can't go wrong and I have good luck with Maxi-lock Swirls. It's a variegated made by the same company and very inexpensive. This is not the serger thread and it's strong enough to use on the longarm.
Marlene Bowker
We usually buy our Signature from the American & Efird site: www.amefird.com It is great thread, no problems with it whatsoever, their variegateds are very pretty

MtnBarb
I use Signature on both the longarm and my domestic machines. Linty but worth it.
