cblevins
Does anyone know if you can switch a 2009 Millie to use the larger bobbins? If so...has anyone done that? I am trying to think of anything I may want done while Dave Jones is here. I have M&M wheels and a camera system...can't think of anything else. Busy Quilting
Cheri, if you look iside the bobbin area of your machine the ones that are capable of being changed over the large bobbin have got the markings C or E stamped on them. I am not even in the same state as my machine so cannot check. I think this onlwas available after 2010.

RunningThreads
I think Jim Erickson changed his Ultimate 2 to the m bobbin. I don't know if he had to fabricate some sort of retaining finger or not. Nigel
jimerickson
I didn't have to fabricate anything. I just had to fit the M hook to my machine, adjust the needle bar height, and cut the slot that holds the retaining "finger" deeper so that the "finger" matched the position in the new hook. I don't have any idea what would have to be done on a Millie. I've never looked at the bobbin assembly on one. Jim
