Lynne in Iowa
Has any one else had trouble signing in lately? It used to just let me stayed signed in, now I have to sign in every time. A lot of the times I will get messages about having trouble signing me in or not being authorized to do something, but it will still let me read whatever I want. Just thought I'd you know incase there is a glitch somewhere.
s.waits
When I'm on my home computer, it will stay signed in from one visit to the next, but I still have to sign in more often than I used to. My work computer makes me sign in every visit, even if it's only been 10 minutes.
ffq-lar
I have the opposite problem. I sign out and the next time I access the site I'm signed in.
meg
Linda.. did you check 'remember me' or something similar at sign in? If so, it might be automatically signing you in. Just a thought. My laptop lets me stay signed in. My iPad always signs me out. I'm wondering if it has to do with the device you use.
CindyT
Mine's the same as Linda's. I sign out and then next time I go to the website, I'm already signed in. I just can't lurk anymore.
Lynne in Iowa
I used to stay signed in all the time, it won't let me any more. Not a big deal, just had to figure out what my password was! A little strange when it says I am not authorized to do something though.
DawnCavanaugh
Hi Lynne, I checked your settings for your account and everything seems to be in order. Sometimes antivirus software or security settings will clear your passwords and credentials during their pre-set scans (often set to run in the dead of night). You can try this trick to see if you can automatically log in to the Forum next time (it works on most Windows computers). 1. Go to "Control Panel" 2. Click on "User Accounts" 3. In the Left pane, click "Manage Your Network Passwords" 4. Click "Add" 5. In the "Log On To" box, type the URL of the website you want to access (http://forum.apqs.com) 6. In the "username" and "password" boxes, type in your username and password 7.Click OK Of course, consider the security of your computer and follow any personal protocols you've established for your computer accounts before you decide to automatically log in each time.
