calicokat
I had a friend over to use the longarm yesterday. She does pretty well, but I do all the starts and stops for her. There were 25 blocks, and sashing, so a lot of starts and stops. That meant I couldn't really get into anything too complicated because I'd be stopping every 10 minutes or so. But I was suprised, -- SOOOOO much got done! All those pesky, little, tiny jobs on my procrastination list - POOF, GONE! The upstairs toilet seat that was loose, tightend Big (and favorite!) Tupperware cake container & a plastic cutting board that had both gotten horribly mildewed somehow, soaked in bleach water all day and good as new 4 pairs of yoga pants converted to skirts for DD and myself Two skirts of DD's that needed mending, done Half a dozen blankets from around the house, washed and stored for summer Adjusted bobbin winder on DSM so finally it fills a bobbin, doesn't stop at halfway and tell me "good enough" Washed out the kitchen trashed cans And even made dinner (All hail the Crockpot, LOL) Isn't it just cool when you put your head on the pillow and feel like it was a *good* day, stuff got done

Merryjo2003
All hail the crockpot, indeed! Couldn't agree with you more. If it wasn't for that, I think my family would be having cereal for dinner. Too many quilts, not enough time!
Aithne
It's really quite surprising what 10 minutes here and there can add up to. Way to go!
