The Last Stitch
My wife helped my daughter and her best friend make a quilt for my daughters best friends sisters wedding. Kept it simple with 8" squares. My wife did the ribbon embroidery center. I quilted it and then my wife and I put on the strips of fabric that will chenille with washing. We came up with the idea when we were on a mission trip in Ruidoso, New Mexico and snuck out on our anniversary (20 years...we are so blessed) to a quilt shop....ended up being one of those that sells imports that are cheaply made at crazy prices. My wife bound it using a cord in the binding on the machine. Enjoy!!

The Last Stitch
We thought it was the craziest idea when we saw it in the "quilt" shop. It really worked well to distract from the not so accurate piecing. This was our daughters second attempt at piecing and her friends first. They were so cute working on it wearing headphones while sewing on a pair of feather weights I got my wife for our anniversary a few years ago. Old meets new or was it the other way around.
