I was so taken by how proud he seemed of her and the crowds around her beautiful ribbon-winning quilt. I received an email yesterday from Tomoko! She told me she had searched the internet about the Festival after returning home to Japan and was led to the post. She and her husband were surprised and pleased with the comments and the photo.
