Battings

Recommended Posts

I am trying to get together the fabrics for a special quilt for our bed.

We aren't sure if we'd want to use it year around or have 2 or  3 quilts to go thru the year.

Is there One batting that would be warm for the winter, and yet cooler for the summer?

We now keep the house about 5 degrees cooler at night in summer, and lower in cool weather..

I'm lost with all the batts and brands.  Your preference?

Thanks,

Rita

Ditto!

Tuscany wool by Hobbs is great, but I have Quilter's Dream wool in the present quilt on the frame and it has a rough-ish side and the other has a nice flat finish on it. I put that side next to the backer and it's quilting beautifully!
