chickenscratch
While in Paducah I bought a package of 3.5 needles, since I was going to be Evidently the needles they gave me, though clearly marked APQS, are the wrong ones. That is why I broke two in a row last night. After trying to retime the machine and the needle not clearing the hook and the mitten, I knew something was wrong. I got one of my old used needles and held it up to the new needle. The new one is clearly longer.

Beachside Quilter
Yes, Teresa, the numbers on your package aren't right! The correct numbers for 3.5 are 134 MR 1955 MR 134 SAN 11 DP x 5 MR I'm sure superior will replace for you.
chickenscratch
I'm not worried about them replacing the needles; I just don't want anybody else to have to retime their machine because of the needles being too long.
Busy Quilting
The APQS tag from Superior is usually a sticker so they must have been rushed to get things together.

LibbyG
I ordered on their site for friends. Two of them have handiquilters and I noticed they sent the wrong needles. They told me to keep the other ones, which fit my machine and sent the HQ ones at no cost.
