lisae Posted October 16, 2016 Report Share Posted October 16, 2016 Hi Everyone! Every once in a while, I finish something! I was invited to participate in an art quilt challenge by Linda Steller. This years topic is World Heritage Sites. The quilts are 50 cm (19.7 inches) square, you can use any technique as long as it's a quilt and it finishes the correct size. The quilts will travel internationally, including Japan, Korea and the US. My topic was the City of Vallette, Malta. I used silk fabrics, sparkle tulle overlay and all metallic threads. The buildings are entirely thread painted with blue metallic thread. All quilted on my Bernina 750QE. I had so much fun making this quilt!
