Hawaii Posted August 20, 2008 Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 Have we not heard enough CL accolades ;) Just finished up a simple quilt for grandbaby, with bubbly Minkee as the backing (no batting), King Tut top and bottom. I loaded the Minkee with the stretch going from side to side. I did have a couple of breaks in thread and it does ripple a bit (after binding). The CL swirls do not show that much on the Minkee back, however.... On the front, it is ripply, like when you throw a pebble in a pond. I love the effect.
