gable428
I'm thinking of getting Myrna's Just Do It Freehand Designs DVD. For those of you who have it, can you tell me what you think of it? Thank you!
Susanne.Hughes
I really love this DVD and think it is great!!!!! Geared to beginners, she really is encouraging and motivational. She is clear, concise and it is like being with her, getting a one on one lesson. You would not regret watching it. I think I'll watch it again this afternoon............ it is horrible weather outside, so a great opportunity to watch and learn. The bonus.......... since it is quilting stuff the man around the house will reteat to his study and give me peace!!!;) Regards,

jmcclannan
I have it too and I would buy it all over again. It really gave me the confidence to "Just do it".
LauraJ
I bought it and am extremely glad I did. It helped me go off the free-motion cliff and the landing wasn't that far down! Don't know about you or others but the fear of messing up stopped me from "just doing it" and her dvd was very encouraging.
gable428
Thanks for the responses everyone. I've always been too afraid to do freehand and have just stuck with pantos because they are "safe." Sounds like this DVD is a winner!

I think I have all her DVDs, and I'm new to this longarming thing:D Fowlproof Feathers is also a very good teaching one. If you are spending the the money for shipping, you might as well get your $$ worth;) JMO

stitchinsally
I learned a lot from it but sometimes have to really think about what direction she is quilting since most of the filming is done from the back of the machine versus looking at how the quilting is being done from the perspective of the quilter on the front of the machine.
