dnice
I am looking for an applique bumble bee pattern that I can add into the summer garden quilt I am working on. Does anyone have one or I have looked in several of my books and all I keep coming up with is for Embroidery!!

Quilting Heidi
Denise, Here are two bee options in EQ. If either of them work for you let me know and I can upload the patterns in whatever size you want.

Quilting Heidi
Denice, Sounds like a plan. It will only take a few minutes. I'm heading to my studio in a couple of minutes and probably won't be on much this afternoon. I took the day off from my day job and I'm going to quilt! dnice
Heidi, Thanks for the patterns. Bobbi, I will look at your site at lunch. I am looking forward to Saturday... I need to bring all my stuff and paper piecing project. (I am still a novice at Paper piecing) Maybe the bee will be good to do. Then applique it on the quilt????Hmmmmm.;) Heidi, Is it possible to make a paper piecing pattern of the bee? I am not that fimilar with EQ so I am just asking.... When need a smily with a thinking cap.......
Quilting Heidi
Denice, I just looked in EQ and there are no paperpieced bumble bees. You could probably draft one using EQ but I hate paper piecing and would have a hard time of coming up with a good design. Paper piecing makes me break out in a cold sweat! mrsbishwit
I have a paper pieced bumble bee pattern (it's kinda old, found it years ago on the internet and the link is no longer available) but no worries...my oldest daughter is scanning the copy that I printed off years ago and I will post it here and send it to you in an e-mail if you like. mrsbishwit
You will need to seperate the 3 sections (section A, section B, and section C and add your 1/4" seam allowance between the sections).
mrsbishwit
Thanks Heidi, I fixed it...it was too large and needed to be resized to fit the forum.
