Laura Farnham
Thanks!!! You all are the best!!! I had fun with this quilt. It's the first time I had quilted for this customer and she will be showing this one off at her quild this week. I hope it pays off. The Feathery, Ferny Border was the easiest part of this one. The pattern was in the fabric! I just followed the leaves!!! As for the Stars, I am the worst at SID and my hands don't work well with rulers, so I just turn up the speed and go for it. I call it "My kind a SID". Same goes for the Piano Key Border. I just eyeball it and go. Thank you all again for your kind words. Happy quilting! PattyJo
Laura, Your quilting is AMAZING! love your eyeballing and going for it. Sometimes I think I get too hung up on "perfect" and it spoils the fun. You have just given me a new way to think about things. So I'm thinking I'll be "Eyeballin'":P
