Hawaii
I quilted up an applique butterfly quilt for a friend (with much trepidation). Many issues.... she mixed fabrics (poly cotton/cotton/and that white on white fabric that makes popping sounds as you quilt; wavy borders; not square.) I used W&N Bright & White, So-Fine top and bottom. I used the CL Baptist Fan to go edge-to-edge (first time and a little unsure, but it was easy peasy). I added the freehand swirls for antennas. Daisy2018
You made a "challenging" quilt really pretty, I'd not have thought of the antenna, they're so precious. Your fans turned out really nice, so nice and even though the fabrics were different types. Great design for the square piecing too, Happy quilting, Pat

Hawaii
Thank you, for your encouragements. It's great to have the right machine (APQS Freedom) and the right tools (Circle Lord) to make the job go smoother! Tomorrow, I get to teach this gal how to attach a binding (she normally pillowcases her quilts), am hoping all goes well and she catches on. Hawaii
She loved the quilt - the binding is attached and ready for hand-stitching (she was a great student!) It was a freeby for my dear friend, but she paid me generously!! A wonderful surprise - my first paid quilting job! I am blessed! I love longarm quilting!
