newellyn
I thought I save this info but can't seem to find it. A while back someone posted pics and a diagram of a really nice border done with overlapping circles with feathers inside. Can anyone help this old person out and let me know where to find it. I did a search of "circle border" but no luck. Thanks in advance for any help.
Quilting Heidi
Lynda is this the one you were looking for? http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=18615
newellyn
Thank you Heidi it is beautiful but not the one I am looking for. The one I need had full circles overlapping half way with a feather in each melon shape created by the overlap of circles and then a one sided feather going over the top to travel to the next melon. Clear as mudd?
SherryRogers
Hi Linda Are you referring to the design in my Formal Feathers 101 book? If you have that book, its towards the back. Ronda Beyer uses that quite a bit and has put her special touch on it as well. Its a great design!
lindasewsit
Hi Lynda! I think this is what you are looking for. I had it in my favorites. You have to scroll down several comments to get the drawn pictures for instructions. I think this is it! http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=17464

sspingler
Ronda Beyer has a wonderful tutorial on her blog on how she does circle borders too.
newellyn
Thank you Sharon. I would really like to see that tutorial but I can never seem to get into much on her blog. Even the link posted earlier on another thread would not work for me. What am I doing wrong?

LadyLake
By the way, Lynda, someone said you had photos of some quilted window coverings you made -- is that true and if so, can you post photos? Thanks!
newellyn
Sorry, I think they must have the wrong Lynda. I made valances only and I don't think I've ever posted any pics of them. I am sooo glad to hear I am not just a dummy with Ronda's blog. Hope someone can enlighten us on how to get to that tutorial.
sspingler
I can't get back that far either so I will write to Ronda and ask her for the link. She had some problems and shut down her blog for a while.
