quilted charm
Originally posted by LadyLake Congratulations, Myrna! You did do a fantastic job with quilting that piece. Do you still have the photo you posted a while back that shows the quilting? It would be fun to see it again. I can't believe there are still quilters in the world whom it doesn't occur to, to give credit to the quilter.... Especially since it won in the longarm/midarm category. That really should be honor to the quilter, not the piecer.

quiltmonkey
Oh yeah the tiny details and special quilting gave this piece so much character and dimension! Myrna be proud. So sorry you were not credited this time around; just make sure you are included in the future. I have a hunch this quilt will be raking in more ribbons.... Sandra Darlington
Myrna...I have a show book. What can I do for you? The book says # 504 - Judy Eselius, Palmyra, NY History and Tradition. Judy's design was inspired by the novel "People of the Book" by Geraldine Brooks. The novel evoked images of colorful Venice at Carnival. Quilted by Myrna Fichen. (Yes, your name was spelled Fichen.) If you want the book, let me know and I will mail it to you.
Myrna Ficken
Thanks Sandra. Nice to know it is in the book. Judy said she did put my name down. I am happy it won. It was fun to do. I am sure she will enter it in more shows.
