DawnCavanaugh Posted April 20, 2011 Report Share Posted April 20, 2011 Suzan, Your quilting is very creative! It really sets off the color bars. I know that the channel lock colors are very confusing...but technically they are labeled correctly (at least from an engineering perspective, if not from a quilter's viewpoint)! When most quilters hit the "vertical lock" button, they think that that machine will ONLY MOVE in the vertical direction. But in reality, the machine is "locked out" of the vertical direction and will only move horizontally. The reverse is true for the horizontal lock. When you activate that button, the machine is "locked" from moving in the horizontal direction, and will only move vertically.
