MarieBrewer
I did a quilt for a lady who had to meet w/me so I could understand everything. It was a graduation gift for a relative. She used some old jeans and a skirt that was hers made of velveteen. I did it all and she seemed happy. At the quilt show I saw in the "quilts for sale" section. What the hell!!! I was shocked because it was so "special" to her. Weird to say the least!!!
Anne from Guam
Maybe the relative didn't want it and put it in the quilt show?
Quilting Heidi
I wonder if she got it and thought she could make some money on it.
Stagecl
As long as you got paid that is all that counts, because what people say before and do with the quilt after they get it back is beyond our control. I agree it sure can be weird!:o:P
kathyb
You think that's weird, I had a guy who commissioned me to make a quilt out of his 2 sons baby clothing, for his wife on Mothers Day. I received a call from her several weeks later telling me how much she loved her quilt then remarked that she just didn't understand why he didn't include any clothing from their little girl to be included in the quilt. I was totally surprised as he never mentioned a little girl!
char pietruk
You could go crazy trying to figure out people. At least maybe this quilt will go to a home where it will be well loved. Nothing more frustrating than to see a quilt misused because it is not appreciated.

Guest Linda S
It could be that the recipient didn't want it. Some people are just not "quilt worthy."
