Duh moment

Recommended Posts

So I had just loaded a quilt and was tightening things up to get started when my fabric advance started stalling. Hmmm - I quickly checked and everything looked OK so I started it up again and again it was stuttering. I thought maybe the little motor was going bad. but when I walked around the frame I was horrified to see that the corner of my take up canvas had become trapped between the roller and the canvas that was wound on the roller. About 10 inches of it was torn! Of course the backing fabric of the quilt was wonky too from being pulled to the side as the take up roller was trying to turn with the corner stuck. Yikes!!! Right now I have mended the canvas with none other than duct tape but I'm thinking I might want to order new leaders. :P
