I love curling feathers ,I am looking to buy a template that I can mark the spines with ,my very first quilt was all freehand curling feathers but I would love a more uniform look . I am looking for reasonable prices used would be great also if anyone has one . Thanks !

You could go to an art store and buy one of those things that are flexible and make curves. That way you could change the curve to suit your quilt and not need to buy lots of different templates. I think it's called a Flexible Curve. It stays in the shape you bend it until you bend it again.

I have some plume rulers that could be used for this. They come in 4 different sizes depending on the size of the block/border.

You would need an expanded base to use rulers.

What a great idea ! It would be nice to get just the right curve on corners and across the borders, too. I'll have to look for one of those.
