Quilting Heidi
Queenie sounds like you need to adjust the #8 screw.
JoAnnHoffman
That's what you need to do.
Guest Linda S
Yep, you need an adjustment. I've never needed to warm my machine up. I just give her a nice cleaning between each quilt, oil a tad before starting, and change the needle every now and then. She's always ready to go from the moment I turn her on. witha'K'quilting
I don't warm my millie up either, per se. I turn her on...adjust the spi and check the oil on the wicks, then in the bobbin area...and away i go stitching. all my 'checking' takes a couple minutes max. Gator
My Millie is in the house with controlled temp and humidity. I never warm mine either I do a combination of what Linda and Sage said. The only time I may warm her up is if she sits for a week or two then I run for about 5 minutes to get the oil flowing.
Busy Quilting
Mine thumps if I don't let her warm up, it has scared me the couple of times I have tried to stitch before she is ready to go!!!! You can't say my house is cold rarely gets below 16 celsius inside. I work my way around her quirks!
Rowena
Mine prefers to be warmed up too. Maybe we are in the wrong hemisphere Lyn!!
