shirleyl
Now I'm second guessing myself. One of our local quilt shops that hasn't been open in like a year was trying to get rid of their inventory. I put a dent in it, with buying 71 bolts for $1200. Most had at least 4 and some was a new bolt, they were figuring $4 a yard. Now for my question. Did I screw up and pay too much? Shirley
qltnbe
$4 a yard sounds good to me.

tyquilter
You got a good deal. One of the shops here in town is charging $11 and $12 a yard.
quiltingjoyful51
$4.00 a yard is less than they paid for it. You got a good deal if you got fabrics you wanted and liked.
Liam
That is really a good price. I have several wholesale accounts and that is less than I pay for most.
shirleyl
Ok I feel better now. They are going to call me when they are tired of trying to get rid of the rest. So I may get more. I bought flannel, batiks, backing. Just an assortment. I really want the rest of the batiks, but I bought what I really liked. Shirley
dlnewell
Post pics of what you've changed your mind about, and if I see something I like, I'll gladly pay you $5.00 a yard plus shipping and packaging!

aktbone
$4.00 per yard is a steal. We are paying $14.99 / yard for batiks at Joann's.
Darlene Epp
If you like Batik fabrics, check out my local shop's online store. They do 1/3 of their business through the web site and sell a lot of batiks for $9.98 CA. HamelsFabrics.com
