chickenscratch
HELP! I have to present this to the guy tomorrow morning. I need quilting ideas right now. I thought of doing ruffles or feathers on the inside of the paper pieced hearts, just to make them stand out more, ribbons in the borders, but what about the 6" squares? OR, just do ribbons over the whole thing? HELP!!!
bobbi
I\'m still new, so maybe I\'m wrong, but I like the ribbon idea, even a breast cancer ribbon in the squares.... and I like the idea for the hearts...
jeanros
Teresa, How about the terry twist or is the 6 " block to large for something like that, it is a fast stitch pattern? Jean Mille
doodlebug
what about pumpking seeding the 6" squares, or pumpking seeding it as tho it was a 4-patch....i like your idea that you have going with the rest of the quilting...if you pumpkin seed it it would be easy to keep it continious just my quick idea... ribbon ETE would be the quickest to do....and in that short of a time rush, that\'s what i\'d do... dtreusch
If you have any of Pam Clarke\'s 8 line books, it would be really fast to do in the 6" squares. Debbi
boppinbrandy
How about doing a double meander all over it, it gives the illusion of ribbons... Also you could McTavish the inside hearts and stipple the squares, maybe a feather border?
ramona-quilter
Yes, it is an adorable quilt. If you are in a hurry, how about doing a panto like Wandering Daisies. I really think that Sharon Spingler should rename this sweet panto Hearts and Flowers because that is what it looks like to me. It is a Willowleaf Studio product.
