Quilting Heidi
Hi all. Well this is finally my last gift and I made it before Christmas Eve. My niece moved in with her boyfriend and he had just gone to Mexico and brought back the "perfect mask" for their dining room! This is Franklin. My niece needed new placemats to replace the ones I made her a few years ago because there was no way Franklin would match. Her special request was placemats to match. Quilting Heidi
So this is what I came up with. They are just placemats. Very different then what I normally do but I would never deny my niece who since she was little always waits for something handmade from her Aunt Heidi! quiltmonkey
Oh Heidi! That is a beautiful mask. You are so creative. Check you out, woman! Your niece is going to FLIP when she sees these "cousins" LOL! You did a beautiful job putting Franklin\'s face on thes place mats. Your niece will never forget these...I have a feeling they will be a topic of conversation and a treasure to use for many years to come. PS: Where in upstate NY do you live? My Dear MIL, Ingrid, her DH & Family live near Watertown.

These were pretty easy to do...I was a little surprised at how easy. It was way different then what I normally do but they came out great and everybody likes Franklin\'s cousins! I need to get them in the mail! Heidi

Quilting Heidi
Bonnie, Don\'t be too impressed...I just printed the mask picture and did a line drawing pretty close to the actual mask. I had to make a few modifications to make it a continuous line. I was pleased with myself! Heidi
