ncutt
Can you tell me what the fair and going price is for it and the templates?
Calicoquilter
Norma, I am curious as to why you are going to sell it. Don\'t you use it or have you found it difficult to use? I am saving up to buy one and now you have me wondering if this is something I want to do. Colleen
Mary Beth
Colleen, I don\'t know about Norma\'s reason to sell, but I can tell you, it is not hard to use. I was a little afraid when I took it out of the box and put it on my table. But from the get go it was the easiest tool I have ever used for my longarm. There was no hassel putting the base on the table. It is easy, easy, easy....you will not be disappointed!! Most people sell their CL because they are getting the computer systems for their longarm. I guess some may sell because they just don\'t use it, but I have not seen that happen...not saying it doesn\'t...just saying it could.
Stagecl
I sold my CL because I was getting a CQ. But, I also had CL for a year and used it 2 times. It just wasn\'t what my customers wanted...95 percent of my business is pantographs. Cheryl
ramona-quilter
Norma, If you really plan to sell it, check with Michael and Kay at www.loriclesquilting.com. They can tell you the value, for sure, and they watch resale of CL so they can give you some idea of a good asking price. I can tell you that the CL will not linger on the forum for long. They sell pretty fast. I think that most folks sell the basic unit with the templates as a package.

ncutt
The only reason I am selling it is because I bought a Compuquilter from (name removed):D. I usually do not sell stuff, I just hang on to it, just in case. But I am trying to get control of my life and that means selling some things. I really love the CL and I was kinda disappointed when they had to lower my sewing head for the Compuquilter. It was like losing an old friend. I am away from home until next week so I will get an inventory on what I want to sell!
John Mitchell
You can leave your machne set up for the CL. I installed a CQ and modified the CQ to work with the CL. The client wanted to keep her CL. The setup worked fine and it was not hard to make the modification. John
IQuiltToo
Norma- have you made a decision on selling/keeping your CL? Thanks for getting back to me while you were away. Marilyn
ncutt
Sorry, everyone that is interested in my CL. I have not had much time to figure out what is a FAIR price. I have the King Baptist Fan, Zig Zag, Clam shell, and Swirls and them the square spiral, curved cross hatch, and cross hatch templates for blocks and possibly some more. I will try to figure it out in the next couple of weeks. Slow, I KNOW!!! Gee, John! Wish I would have done that. I haven\'t found a digitized pattern I like as well as the Baptist Fan or Swirls on the Circle Lord. <img src="http://ak.imgag.com/imgag/product/thumbs/3125811a.gif" width="38" height="38">

Grace
Thanks, John, for figuring out how to keep the best of both worlds for designs. If I ever convert to CompuQuilter, I think I still would want my CL just because it has a comfort level I can use while learning the other system. Could you share your info with (name removed)? She would be the local Rep for me in Oregon. Thanks again.
