Around 9:00 pm, the moon came up as red and orange almost as Shana's sun. We watched it for the longest because it was so pretty. That's what we get this time of year when the grass farmers are burning their stubble. I wish I had a picture. Shana, I looked at your website again. I love those auroras. Sams Mom Posted September 17, 2008 Report Share Posted September 17, 2008 Fall is in the air. Being from the Gulf Coast, I remember wondering how hot it was going to be on Halloween. Here in northern Colorado, you can plan on COLD weather on halloween but there is a point in September when the lighting changes. It reminds me of a solar eclipse when the focus changes.
