hayevymae
What an absolutely beautiful quilt! I love whole cloth/trapunto quilts... a real traditional beauty! I don't think I could ever take on anything like that! Did you take classes from Ms. McT herself or did you teach yourself? Thanks for sharing! Stagecl
I did take Karen's whole cloth class at MQX a few years ago. She is a wonderful teacher and lots of fun. I also have her book too. Cheryl

Stagecl
Mary Beth...go for it. It is a challenge but what fun! I know mine is not quite a traditional whole cloth, but I wanted something different.

Grammie
Cheryl you have executed this beautifully . Awesome. My 24 yr old with two daughters just recently divorced. He is in Iraq but phones his girls often and visits with webcam. He also sends them taped videos of him reading to them. they love watching them over and over. Again the quilt is just beatiful. sew4fun05
Cheryl, the quilt it beautiful. I agree with the others you should show it. It was meant to be with you for a little while longer while things settle for your daughter. Good Luck.

Marlette
It's gorgeous!! Very unusual design for a whole cloth, I think, which makes it even more special. Sorry to hear about the divorce, but as you said, some things aren't to be. Heidi, Our 2 sons were married 2 months apart. It wasn't so bad. It was a very small wedding for the first son and a traditional one for the second..only 150 guests tho so it was small by some standards. I made the first bride's dress and the second ones flower girl's dress as she was my niece (the flower girl I mean;)) I'm sure, if things get crazy, your kids would rather receive their quilts later than have a frazzled mom! Those weddings won't be as fun if your a wreck or ,worse, sick.
ETownsend
Cheryl, The quilt is drop dead gorgeous! I love whole cloth quilts and you certainly did an outstanding job at quilting it. I agree that it needs to go into some shows. Richmond Guild is having a show on Oct 25th. Deadline to enter is Sept. 15th. Go for it!
