ffq-lar
I will be attempting to quilt a silk painting later this month. I will do a photo journal of the process if I am successful. Cross fingers for me please! Here is the web site address of a very talented artist (Steve Scheibe--pronounce shy-be--he works those syllables cleverly into his work) who paints in many mediums, but seems most comfortable painting silk. His Gallery contains lots to look at--many items painted at the source and beautifully done. www.visibleinvisible.com Hey Shana--lots of art from his residency in Alaska! TracyeQ
Very cool. The town next to me has a shop that offers silk painting classes...made me think of the amazing ones Joann Hoffman quilted recently...Hmmm...wonder if they could teach me to paint?
