Recent Quilt Pictures

I used stencils for the feathered wreaths and corners. The star was freehanded feathers that I learned from watching Kim Brunner's DVD set Twirly Whirly Feathers. I used Hobb's 80/20 batting and Metro thread. The quiltmaker gave me a picture of the way she wanted it quilted, so I can't claim any creativity on the quilting selections.

Marquetta, congratulations on a job well done. Your quilting looks great! I too lurked for a year before posting and almost 2 before getting brave enough to post a photo. This forum has lots of quilters who are very talented and willing to share their ideas. I too have learned much. :)

Marquette, I am speechless. I've been quilting for almost a year and I can do NOTHING like that. You are a born feather quilter. The quilt is beautiful. In fact, the colors and style of the quilt top gave me inspiration to get going on my lone star quilt. Thanks for sharing. Dar :)
