WestieMom
Welcome! Your quilting is wonderful...love the feathers! I have a Lenni too. Isn't Lenni great?
marquetta
I used stencils for the feathered wreaths and corners. The star was freehanded feathers that I learned from watching Kim Brunner's DVD set Twirly Whirly Feathers. I used Hobb's 80/20 batting and Metro thread. The quiltmaker gave me a picture of the way she wanted it quilted, so I can't claim any creativity on the quilting selections.
dlnewell
Marquetta, congratulations on a job well done. Your quilting looks great! I too lurked for a year before posting and almost 2 before getting brave enough to post a photo. This forum has lots of quilters who are very talented and willing to share their ideas. I too have learned much.

Dar
Marquette, I am speechless. I've been quilting for almost a year and I can do NOTHING like that. You are a born feather quilter. The quilt is beautiful. In fact, the colors and style of the quilt top gave me inspiration to get going on my lone star quilt. Thanks for sharing. marquetta
I've had my Lenni for a year, but before that I had a Mega Quilter on a frame, so I've been frame quilting for two years. I love feathers! I want to use feathers on every quilt, but I can't. Thanks again for all the kind words! I'm really touched!
luv2kwilt
If you keep quilting like that, the only thing that will be scary is all the people that will be begging you to quilt for them!!! Congrats and keep up the gorgeous quilting! Monica
