JustSewSimple
Rita, do you love to make those? I do. I have started making 2 pillow cases for every quilt I quilt for myself or my mom. It looks so good to make up the bed with the quilt and then add those pillow cases. Yours looks great. Are they gifts?
Beachside Quilter
Beautiful, Rita! Sylvia, what a great idea to make matching pillowcases for your quilts. Oh yeah, I really need more projects....(still, it is a great idea!!!)
RitaR
All these pillow cases and the 9 left to make, not just 8, are for Ronald McDonald House... I've already made 2 for me to use on My pillow when I have to be in the hospital again... one for each of the grandkids. and I think I will make son-in-law and our two daughters one each... I have to get busy on the Quillts of Valor.. and Community Service panels and/ or premade by others.. I really want this bunch of threads woven together, under control.. Sylvia, I'm not using the hot dog method.. I serge all cut edges, then stitch on the pillow side. Lay out the three layers together, serge and again sew, turn right side out and put in the laundry. Thanks again ladies.. you can do it too....if you want
