Merryjo2003
Hi everyone, Thought I'c post a some pics of this baby quilt I made. It's for a baby (girl) shower in a couple of weeks. They raise mini doxies so I couldn't resist. I bought the Sue blocks off ebay. I satin stitched them and added the collar and leash to match the color of the ball in the dog's mouth. I had to stick with the green/gold/white colors because of the Sue's.

Patch
Oh! How cute.... !! GRRRRRREAT job, MerryJo. It's just SO cute, and I do love the quilting you did. The back is beautiful too. I agree, the dachshunds are genius and sets your Sues apart from the common run of 'em. Yup, the baby will love this one!
Merryjo2003
The Sue blocks were cut out and wonder-undered down on the white backround. I satin stictched them so it could stand up to washing. I started with the 5 Sue blocks and ended up with the quilt. I thought ithey would get a kick out of it because they are mini dachshund breeders. Thanks for all the kind words. It sure helps a girl's confirdence!
