T Row Studio
Just finished my customers quilt I used glide on the top and a coats poly prewound on the bobbin both off white the back was a Costco blanket with a thin cotton batting . I used a panto called Daisy swirl byJodi Beamish it complimented the floral print fabric she used , it gives it a nice texture I think.

gardenslug
Love the quilt. Can you tell me what kind of Costco blanket - fiber content? Would appreciate it, as I would like to try using a blanket. Marilyn

loraquilts
I've thought of using blankets as batting. Got a bunch of them at a store closing. Full sized for $3 each. Has anyone tried using a blanket as a batting? Does it quilt well? I figured for $3 it's worth a shot. : ) Nice quilt. I love the simplicity of the pattern and the selection of fabrics. Your quilting is fabulous too! Great job.
JenniferBernard
That blanket quilted up just lovely! You are recreating the past with a blanket as batting! They used to use a blanket in the past to make something pretty from worn out things!
