ramona-quilter Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 Hester, What a crowd today. You\'ll find Birgits quilt on Aisle 500 near the front. I must have asked 5 white-glove ladies where it was. Hello, it won First Place...It\'s called Chocolate... it has big holes in it. Nobody knew where it was. The black curtain that the quilt is hung on does not show the holes very well. So of course, I stood there for a few minutes and told anybody that paused. "First Place. Look. You will never see a quilt like this. Have you ever seen a quilt with holes in it?" People were amazed and soon they were telling other people who stopped about the stunning quilt. My work here is done. I started a new thread with photos of Birgits and Ferrets quilts. The other end of 500 is the APQS booth. I stopped by to say hello to Cheryl Uribe and Raquel Birch.
