chickenscratch
This is the center of what will hopefully be a show quality quilt. Let me know what you think. Be honest. I've already sewed and unsewed seams a million times to be sure points line up, so you won't hurt my feelings. I want it to be as close to perfect as possible. chickenscratch
Thanks, looking at the picture posted here I see that the points are a bit off on the orange and yellow spire at the 8 o\'clock position. I\'m going to have to go back and fix that I guess. Shoot. I thought I had it about right.

victoriasews
The black background was a wonderful choice. The colors really shine. I haven\'t done any show quilts because by the time everything is all perfect in a block, I don\'t want to do it anymore. I admire quilters who can really hang in there until it\'s perfect. chickenscratch
Hopefully it will be done in time to enter the AQS show in Iowa. And then Nashville. Maybe Innovations, I don\'t know. I\'ll see how it turns out. I\'ve been auditioning thread colors. What is a good variegated with these colors in it? I have some King Tut, but it has more pink in it. It still might work though; the next ring (the one the flying geese will weave in and out of is hot pink.
