Jeannine
Just finished this new baby quilt. Used a clothbook panel and added 2 inch borders and then cut the squares at an angle. Added the sashings in odd sizes to get the look I wanted. There are more pictures on my webshots site. Have a look! http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2073607860101941350lJQwiW Also just finished a table runner and placemat set for our ladies group at church. That was free hand quilting. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2277208670101941350bUUZtV This is my webshot site http://community.webshots.com/user/themadquilter
Mary Beth
Jeannine, I went to you webshots to look. The attachment was just too tiny for my over 40 eyes! Great job. How cute is that. Love the twist you put on the blocks.
chickenscratch
Love the colors in that runner. Very pretty. DOn\'t those panels just sew up quick and easy. They are a lot of fun. MaryBeth, I\'ve been meaning to tell you, I love the Erma Bombeck quote in your signature. It really fits me well. My husband keeps threatening to call those "How Clean is your Home" ladies to come in and get our house cleaned up.

Sheri Butler
Jeannine, they are both cute! The runner is ready for spring!
Sandra Darlington
They\'re very nice. I made a story book quilt a few months ago that was done much like yours. I prefer to make a quilt with those panels, than to make the book itself.
Kathleen
that is really unique! I love it! My niece is having her second baby and that would be a really fun quilt to make for the new baby.

Jeannine
Thanks for the comments. I\'ve been working really hard on improving the quilting and trying lots of freehand quilting. I have made a few tweaks to my machine and it has helped alot with the control issue. Shanna, I wanted to let you know that I checked out your Alaska web site and I must say, you have some great pictures. Very interesting seeing things we don\'t get to see on the East Coast. Thanks again, for taking the time to check out my work. I don\'t always have the time to reply to everyone\'s post, but try to look as often as I can and read all the great tips and suggestions from you gals. I do love seeing everyone\'s workmanship.
