Lisa Mullins
This is my first cross stitch quilt and the sweet lady wanted it outlined. It puffed up nicely with two sets of stitches around the cross stitching. It was so much fun to do!
JudyLynn
Lisa, that is beautiful. It always amazes me what people can come up with for quilting. But this quilt is a work of art. Glad you had fun with the quilting. Judy
judysmith
Judy, this is delightful. Just enough quilting to not overpower the needlework. Love the feathering, especially in the borders. Great job. Judy S

Nadia Wilson
What a pretty quilt, I love the feathers you quilted on it, they maintain the movement of the cross stitched design into the quilted areas. Very pretty!
Quilting Heidi
Lisa, You should be very proud and I\'m sure the maker will be proud to call it her quilt! Wonderful choice of quilting. Great job. I love that you did not quilt in the cross stitch.

Judi
Lisa - that is AWESOME!!! I love all of the cross-stitching and you did a great job quilting this too - very pretty!!!:) Questions: Is the cross-stitch done on fabric / linen or on aida cloth? Is this pieced or like a wholecloth? I would love to make on "some day" when I have the time!!
Judi
Couple of more: Do you know the name of this pattern? What size is this quilt? What size is that smallest square in the center of each block - or the size of the huge blocks? (sorry so many questions - I just REALLY like it!!!) RitaR
What a Gorgeous quilt, Phew.. I can\'t think that many crossstitch stitches, much less do them. I agree with the other gals.. your stitching designs have only enhanced the quilt.. Wonderful job by both of you. RitaR
Lisa Mullins
Thank you all for the sweet comments! Judy, This is 4 blocks that make a 90 x 90 quilt. It was a pre stamped piece of cotton, she did a wonderful job with the cross stitch. This 84 year young lady said that it took her 4 years to cross stitch all of the blocks. She has much more patience than I do. I do cross stitch now with the help of my Bernina using the Artista software......I just can\'t sit still for that long anymore. Again, thank you all for the comments! After seeing all of your work, I know I have so much room for improvement! I love learning from all of you.
