peglu
I took Myrna's advice from her pocket guides, and decided to PPP on paper instead of the white board. I found this much better for me. I still need a lot of practice and STILL can't do feathers, but I might actually be able to put a few of them on fabric now. However, my McTavishing may require some private lessons. That's what that's supposed to be in the lower left corner. The one on the lower right is one I made up just to fill the page.

Jhend
If you ever came to my office, that's all you see all over my desk. Doodles. They really think I'm taking great notes at meetings, but you all know better.
RitaR
Hi Peggy, sure looking good to me. I can't handle the McT either. somehow I go cattawhumpus and end up in a mess beyond my belief. Good to see you back with us.. just ppp ppp ppp ppp ppp and it will come. Sometimes I find even though it looks terrible on paper or dry erase, I do better with the machine. As all have seen though, most needs improvement. RitaR
witha'K'quilting
I am glad I am not the only one who doodles on paper and still can't McTavish. I get all tied up in a corner and can't get out. It isn't pretty!
cmoore1223
What was Myrna's reason for using paper instead of the whiteboard?

Gator
I use the white board, paper and the doodle thing. I ppp at the doctors waiting room, vets, etc, you should see the stares, LOL. After ppp on any of the above, I put paper on my machine and tape a sharpie to the needle bar or use just the needle (without thread&bobbin thread) and ppp some more using the machine. countrystitcher
When I go to meetings, I usually have a couple of pages full of doodles - everyone around me looks at them and before long the whole table is doodling....kind of good for a laugh. jmcclannan
I like to doodle on paper because then when I come up with a terrific design I can put it in my notebook for future use (that is if I remember that I put it in my notebook). Bekah
Peggy I think your McT looks fine. it will be your very own. I am sure Karen would think so too. I wish I could quilt my doddles as good as I can draw them. It always amazes me they don't look at all the same:P
PamelaA
Julie has the reason Myrna says to practice on paper. You can keep copies of the good ones for future reference. Pamela
MaryLou5740
Ever see the back and insides of my church bulletins? DH has learned to ALWAYS carry a pen and have 'doodled' my way thru many, many Sunday Mornings.. and, Yes, I AM listening all the while.
