witha'K'quilting
Sven and his oldest sister Taylor are away at Diabetes Camp. I miss them sooo much. I have posted pictures to my blog and will continue to do so throughout the week.
Quilting Heidi
I think it is always harder on moms! I'll bet Sven and Taylor are having a great time.
quiltinginthecountry
I read your blog and it looks "the kids are having a ball". Nice to read Sven is doing so well. Good for him.
Neher-in-law5
what a great time for them both to share the best of life for Sven. It won't take long for things to get back to normal when they get home though!

KDquilter
Wow - camp is always harder for MOM and for kids. They have planned activities and food and swimming etc and Moms sit home wondering if they are having a good time.
CindyT
At least you have the relief with Sven being at Diabetes camp that he will be looked after. Glad his sis could share the time with him. Looks like they're having fun.
witha'K'quilting
Sending Sven to camp now is a bit different than ever before. WIth his insulin dosage and meal plan...I need to know he is doing things properly. Diabetes camp is perfect because there are trained doctors, nurses, dieticians, counselors...as well as older kids to guide the activities and skits. As a Mom...I know he is taken care of and someone is monitoring his blood glucose and he is dosing properly for his activities/meals. The hardest part of taking them to camp...was knowing I had a 700 mile drive Sunday...and again on Friday to pick them up! Leaving them there with 100 other kids was the easy part. They were having fun before I even left!
IBQLTN2
Glad that he was able to go to such a nice camp where you can feel at ease that he is being properly cared for medically. that is such a blessing. That drive though won't be an easy way. I hope that is both ways not just one way.
