k8
This is a quilt that is all needle turn applique with silk thread. Each block is different and there is an undulating border of flowers/leaves/stem on all four sides of the quilt. When we opened the box my partner and I spent about an hour and a half with our jaws hanging open!! HUGE number of fabrics and excellent use of fussy cutting. The quilting uses a variegated thread to the outside of the border and a coordinating solid thread on the field and inside of the border to connect them. I'm not a photographer so ... what can I say! My pics really don't do it justice!
