anniemueller
Here's a fairy alphabet quilt that my customer wants me to have fun with. The batting is a polyester with scrim, so it will have some puff. My customer and I discussed her ideas, but the fairies have been singing to me.....set us free, set us free LOL Any ideas? Primitive1
How pretty! I would just do something in the borders and outline the fairies and letters in the blocks...if it is pretty puffy you probably won't need alot of heavy quilting in the blocks.... anniemueller
Thanks for all the ideas. I like Dell's leaves. And Rebecca, your background fill is gorgeous. I think with puffy batt though, I'll have to tone it down. I was thinking along Vicki's ideas, outline the fairies and letters, and do some fairly open leaves in the sashing. Gotta think of something cute for the cornerstones. Butterflies, maybe.
CrazyAboutQuilting
OH how cute! I'm sure you'll do your usual magic and it will be beautiful! I really like your idea of butterflies in the cornerstones. Del and Rebecca, both of your quilts are beautiful!
rlhdesigns
You could copy the wings from one of your fairies for your butterflies for your corners, trace them out and if you want them larger use the printer for the size you want. anniemueller
This sure was a fun one to work on. I didn't quilt too dense, so it could be a little puffy.
anniemueller
I did a pajama quilter floral in the outer border. My favorite fairy is the U fairy....poor guy didn't get a flower:-O

ffq-lar
There is sooo much to love with this quilt! Beautiful to start--but then your added stitching and attention to detail made it wonderful! Great design ideas--love the butterflies! Poor little U-guy with no flower! That's what happens when you have room for 25 in the setting and 26 fairies to place! I can't think of a flower that starts with U.
