Wannabelongarm
This is a quilt I made from start to finish, and helped to rasie $1330 for a group of youth from the Lubicon Band in Northern Alberta to raise money to build a hockey rink in their community. It is such a neat story and we sold tickets on this quilt at our UNA (United Nurses of Alberta) AGM last week in Edmonton, Alberta. It was my first attempt at feathers, they are not heirloom, but I was pleased with my first attempt! This pattern is from Fons and Porter's Easy Quilts, Spring 2008. I made the triangles using the tube technique - very fast and accurate. The big triangles we done the traditional way. I have enough fabric to make one for our home, too!! Thanks for looking!
