Georgene
When I turned my machine on this morning, the lights started blinking. I checked all connections and they are secure. I looked under the machine head so I could see the LED lights, and I see 3 in a row of the little nobs of lights that are blinking, and only those 3. The rest of the white lights are fine, as are the black lights. Has anyone had this happen yet? It's very distracting.
linsq1
Hi Georgene. In the past 2 weeks, my 2008 Millie has 3 lights blinking all of a sudden, too. They are on the rear left side, if you are standing where you do pantos. Some days they are OK. Other days they blink off and on, making me feel dizzy. Let me know if you find something to fix this problem. Many thanks! Lin
Gator
Hummm, I think this is a knew one? Wasn't covered in our maintenance classes. Time to call Amy, Dawn or Barb. I wonder if the LEDs have a shelf life?
Quilting Heidi
I don't have LED lights but recall that there was a thread in the last 3 or 4 months about this problem. If I recall correctly Dawn told them how to clean them and that seemed to resolve the problem.
Quilting Heidi
I found the post referring to flickering lights. Here you go. http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=25246&page=1#pid316518
Georgene
Lin, those are the exact location of mine that are blinking. Heidi, thanks so much for going the extra mile and finding that post. I had missed it before. I will try the air blow fix. If it doesn't work, I'll call APQS. Thanks again. lindasewsit
Georgene, Mine are doing that too~ I had done what Dawn said with blowing some air in there... helped for a little bit, but they are doing it again..... linda
Georgene
Yeah, I tried cleaninig and blowing, but they are still blinking, althought not quite as bad???? I guess I call them soon, see if there is something else we can do.
linsq1
I tried blowing with canned air, too, but no luck. I shut the machine off and turned it on later.... now the 3 lights are completely OUT. Oh dear, guess a phone call to APQS is in order.

Georgene
Hitomi, Thanks much, but for some reason, the pictures in the attachment don't show up for me. I'll contact APQS next week and see what they have to say. Maybe they can send it direct to my email. Maybe it would work then???
Georgene
Thanks, Hitomi. Once I added .doc as an extension to that last file, I was able to open it and it worked. I can now see the pictures. Thanks again. Don't know if it will help my problem, but at least I have more information to work with, and can maybe talk knowledgebly (sp?) with the techs at APQS. DawnCavanaugh
Georgene, Here is something else to check. If you "look under the hood" of the top long cover, you will be able to see the two lead wires that come up from the LED light into the top of the machine. They clip into the top circuit board there. Sometimes the little connectors from the wires to the board can wiggle loose. Make sure they are firmly snapped in place. Let me know if it fixes the trouble or we need to delve deeper! linsq1
Hi Dawn! Clark and I checked under the hood, but found all to be well. The 3 "rear" left lights are now out constantly after flickering for a couple weeks. Any other ideas? Many thanks to our machine gurus out there!!!! Blessings, Lin
