RoseCity Quilter
Originally posted by Susan Grady Ardelle, you're amazing. I need a separate folder marked Favorites from Ardelle! Love the Jungle Safari on the kids quilt....so appropriate and beautifully executed. The tree skirt is awesome! Your holly has such beautiful movement and flow to it and is perfect for the quilt. Is the tree skirt pattern available? I've been looking for a tree skirt pattern that isn't "cutesy" and this is a beautiful one. I didn't see where it is joined or perhaps it's for an artificial tree and doesn't need to be split open. That must have been a real challenge to quilt in the round. Of course, you did it perfectly! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your beautiful work. Yes this pattern is available on our web site. It is the Christmas Tree Skirt from Judy Neimeyer. It isn't joined yet as the piecer decided to cut the slit after I quilted it. I floated it and found it was no big deal to quilt in the round.

Boni
The cat's meow! Both are yummy good! I have a roundish tree skirt coming...already slit, I can't remember the name, but it has piecing much like a Lonestar I think. She is bringing two of them and one will be a tablecloth...hmmmmm...I like what you did Ardelle. What a challenge, and you did it well!
