barbm
I am working on my wish list for classes for MQS 2012 and can't find anything about this technique - can anyone enlighten me?
Busy Quilting
Zentangling my Sue. She wasn't allowed to use the term Zentangle I think, as she is not a certified Zentangle Teacher. So doodling on fabric!
Hawaii
Barb, I took her Zentangled Wholecloth Marking and can't wait to get that puppy loaded on my machine. It was a lot of fun and she is an inspiring teacher. You will enjoy this one, especially if it is hands-on! Barb

JudithWashburnQuiltStudo
I did some searching and found no patterns by Sue. However, if you are going to be at the Houston Quilt Festival she is going to have a class on this. I am going and I will be looking for some patterns. Will let you know if I find any. I would like some myself.
meg_marsh
Sue doesn't have any patterns for the Zentangle type class she teaches - rather it is a 3 - 4 step process of marking the fabric. It was really a fun class and everyone came up with something totally different. Her method for marking utilized templates, stencils, rulers - whatever to create the basic designs. She then talked about threads and how to quilt our new wholecloth quilts.
Matt Sparrow
Sue first taught this class at Sparrow Studioz early 2011. It was a huge hit! She has shit loads of rulers and templates for students to use and takes the process in a bit of a different direction than Zentangling. This class is sure to unlock your creative mojo and you will be inspired by Sue's NON-STOP energy!
